Three assessments, one visit
Most people only see someone about their ears when something’s already wrong. The Ear Health MOT is the opposite — a proactive, thorough check that combines everything we’d normally do separately, at a price that’s less than booking them individually.
It’s ideal if you’ve noticed changes in your hearing, get blocked ears often, or simply want a proper baseline from a specialist audiologist.
What’s included
Your MOT, step by step
1
Wax check & removal
We examine and, if needed, clear any wax by microsuction so the rest of the tests are accurate.
2
Hearing test
A full pure-tone assessment measures exactly how you hear across the range of speech.
3
Middle-ear check & results
Tympanometry checks your eardrum, then we explain everything together — clearly.

Common questions
What exactly is included?
Ear examination and wax removal if needed, a full pure-tone hearing test, and a middle-ear (tympanometry) check — plus a clear explanation of all your results.
Do I need it if I have no symptoms?
It is a genuinely useful baseline, especially over 50 or if you are exposed to noise. Knowing your normal makes any future change much easier to spot.
How is this different from a GP appointment?
It is longer, done by a specialist audiologist with specialist equipment, and you get the actual measurements and an honest interpretation — not a two-minute look.
